Welcome to Sports Massage Bedford

Sports Massage Bedford has a fundamentally different approach from all other forms of massage. It is deep tissue massage designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue, i.e. muscles, tendons and ligaments, often caused by repetitive, strenuous physical activity or trauma.

We have put together a great team of therapists who have a like-minded approach to sports massage and sports injury treatment, along with the relevant insurance and ISRM (Institute for Sport and Remedial Massage) or SMA (Sports Massage Association) membership. So whichever therapist you book with you can be assured you will receive a competent effective service.

Most people who have a sports massage on a regular basis are less prone to injuries. You also have to take into account the mental benefit of sports massage. You cannot put a price on feeling fit and ready for an event, it will really give you an edge.

We use different techniques to manipulate soft tissue, to relax it, repair it or simply maintain it. We have a very diverse range of clients from elite athletes to people who do little of no exercise, often office and desk based simply needing stress and posture issues rectified.
You may be given some homework! Yes, some movements or stretches to help improve the situation.

We have many clients who do exercise and train and compete who have regular maintenance massage. Occasionally they will need injury
treatment.
